Are you looking for ways to improve student performance and address different learning styles?
• By infusing project-based learning into the curriculum, students are encouraged to become critical thinkers, better communicators, independent workers, and lifelong learners. They become responsible for their own learning with the PBL approach.
• Individual learning styles are addressed through project-based learning. It involves a student-centered approach. Students gain knowledge through their own backgrounds and experiences. This is my favorite project of the year! My students have so much fun with this while gaining so many real-life applicable skills.
My students loved Food Truck Project from the moment I introduced it! Students were engaged, motivated, and eager to finish their other work so that they could get out their packets and trucks and continue creating and designing. Always love it when the students have high-energy about an activity.
WHY SHOULD YOU GRAB THIS PBL UNIT?
• Your students will love sharing their creations with classmates and other visitors.• This Project Based Learning unit is open-ended so students can extend their learning.
• Advanced learners can explore health standards, local regulations, and nutritional content, create scale drawings, and more!
• Students can work in collaborative groups or complete an independent study.
